In this session, you’ll: 🖌️ Paint coasters and bookmarks that you can take home. 🌿 Practice mindfulness while exploring colours, patterns, and textures. 💬 Connect with fellow students in a friendly, supportive space. No prior art experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and creativity. Paints, brushes, and all materials will be provided. Why join? Expect both connection and laughter. ❌ Can’t make it? Cancel your ticket! Even though this is a free event, please cancel if you can’t attend so someone else can take your place.   About the event Take a break from exam prep and join us for Friendship Yoga — a gentle, uplifting session designed to help you de-stress, recharge, and connect with others. This workshop is part of Mental Health Month. We’re teaming up with Headspace and the Curtin Psychology Society to help you: Slow down and recharge. Reflect on what you’re grateful for. Use journaling to support your mental health.   What you’ll do: 🌱 Learn how gratitude journaling can reduce stress and build resilience. 🖊️ Try guided prompts to help with self-reflection. 🎨 Decorate your journal with crafts, printouts, and anything you like—glue and materials are provided! 🤝 Meet other students in a friendly, welcoming space.\ Whether it’s your first journal or you already keep one, you’ll leave with: A handmade, personalised journal New skills to bring gratitude into your daily life Other Mental Health Month Events: 13/10 – Friendship Yoga 🧘‍♀️ Stretch, relax, and connect with friends. 21/10 – Mindful Painting 🎨 Explore creativity and mindfulness. 24/10 – Games Night 🎲 Have fun and unwind with fellow students.
